Deposit Policy

At Oceanwave Storage, we believe in treating our customers the way we'd want to be treated—with fairness, transparency, and respect.

To help keep things simple and protect both you and our facility, we require a small, fixed security deposit of $25 per unit, regardless of unit size. This modest amount covers potential minor cleaning or damages and is fully refundable under normal circumstances.

How the Deposit Works

  • Amount: $25 (one-time per unit, not monthly).
  • Purpose: The deposit acts as security to ensure the unit is returned in good condition—clean, broom-swept, and free of damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Refund Process:
    • When you move out, we'll inspect the unit promptly after it's vacated and emptied.
    • If the unit is left clean (broom-swept, no trash or debris, no damage to walls/floors/door), we will refund your full $25 deposit quickly—typically within 2 business days via your original payment method
    • Any necessary deductions (e.g., for excessive cleaning, repairs, or unpaid fees) will be itemized and explained clearly. We'll only deduct reasonable, documented costs.
  • No Surprises: Our goal is to return it in full whenever possible.

We keep this policy fair and low because we value long-term relationships with our customers. Most tenants will get their deposit back without issue, and we're happy to walk you through the move-out process to make sure everything goes smoothly.
